Check your model on arrival
Your Light Bee 1:6 model is supplied assembled with a display stand. Check the model, stand and any other items listed in your order. Keep the packaging while you inspect the delivery.
Please report missing parts, arrival damage or a suspected defect within 3 days after delivery where possible, with your order number and clear photos or video. Prompt reporting helps us understand what happened. It does not shorten any statutory guarantee or make later defect reports automatically ineligible.
How we help with a quality issue
For confirmed quality issues reported within 3 days after delivery, we provide suitable replacement parts free of charge and pay their shipping cost. We will check whether you can safely and reasonably fit them; you are not expected to carry out an unsafe or impractical repair. This voluntary arrival-support period does not shorten any applicable statutory guarantee. After this period, legally required remedies remain available at no charge where required; for other support, we will agree any parts or shipping charges with you first.
If replacement parts are unsuitable, cannot resolve the defect or do not meet the requirements of the law that applies, we will arrange or discuss the appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Applicable consumer guarantees remain in place. This page does not promise a lifetime warranty.
Accidental damage, unsuitable storage or damage caused by improper modification is assessed separately. An exclusion applies only to damage actually caused by that misuse; it does not remove your rights for an unrelated manufacturing defect.
Hand-finished character
Our models are assembled and finished in small batches. Subtle paint variation, small assembly marks and minor differences between individual models can occur. Photographs and screens can also show colour differently.
These variations are different from a broken or missing part, a significant finish defect, an unsafe condition or a function that does not match the product description. If you are unsure, send us a close-up photo and we will assess the issue with you.
Moving and removable parts
The wheels, belt, front and rear suspension, removable battery and cover reproduce details of the full-size motorcycle. Explore them gently and within their natural range. Stop if you feel unexpected resistance; do not force the suspension, pull the belt or bend fine parts.
The model is a display collectible, not a riding or powered vehicle. Repeated forceful operation can cause wear, loosen screws or damage the finish. Normal gentle use of a feature as described on the product page is not, by itself, misuse.
Avoid unnecessary disassembly. If you choose to modify or repaint the model, use suitable tools and protect small parts. Contact us before attempting a repair to a reported quality issue.
Cleaning, display and storage
- Display on a stable surface, using the supplied stand where appropriate.
- Keep away from strong heat, moisture, prolonged direct sunlight, impacts and falls.
- Use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid alcohol, detergents and organic solvents on the finish.
- Handle painted and metal surfaces with clean, dry hands.
- If a small screw loosens, tighten gently with the correct tool. Do not overtighten; ask us if you are unsure.
The model contains small parts and is intended for collectors aged 14 and over. It is not suitable for children under 14. Keep loose parts out of reach of young children.
Motorcycle parts and compatibility
Check the bike model, version and fitment information before ordering a motorcycle part. Installation must be carried out by someone with the appropriate skills and tools; safety-critical parts should be checked by a qualified technician before use. Do not use a part if it is damaged or does not fit correctly.
What is included is stated on each product page. Brake kits do not include calipers. The original-taillight plate holder does not include a taillight; the strip-taillight version includes its lamp. Side-case kits include installation brackets. Do not assume that other components shown in a photograph are included.
For the current V2 belt kit, the guard is 304 stainless steel. The 19 mm belt version uses an aluminium washer and is intended for rear tyre widths up to 140 mm; the 25 mm version is intended for widths up to 125 mm. Check the complete product fitment information, as tyre width alone does not establish compatibility.
